Privacy Statement

I take the privacy of your personal information seriously, and always have done. I am bound by a Code of Professional Ethics that includes confidentiality. The information that you share with me during a consultation is in order for me to carry out the treatment requested. Each patient’s record is stored securely by me, in paper files, not electronically. This information is not shared with anyone else. The exceptions to this would be if I was required to share something by law; I do share your name and phone number with the natural health centres where I work for the purpose of booking an appointment; and I may share the general nature of the situation, but excluding any personally identifying detail, during my professional supervision sessions.

If you telephone me or email me, all messages will be deleted after I have copied the information that is relevant to you to your private paper file.

I am required to retain patient records for 7 years after the date of the last consultation. Records will be burnt after this time..
